I recently worked with Colin on a custom Jeep themed bench- a retirement gift for one of the founders of my company. Our first commissioned furniture request had extraordinary results. We worked with Colin S. of Purpose and Pine to create six dining room chairs for our beetlewood table. Colin understood our idea and designed chairs that are beautiful. The iron work was so professionially done and the wood choices are such a natural match to the table. Colin was easy to work with; communication throughout the process was appreciated. Completion was right on time. He was a pleasure to work with!

As his brother, I am NOT obligated to say anything nice about him however I must admit his work is truly beautiful, hand-crafted, and environmentally friendly. My home is filled with Purpose and Pine furniture and I will continue to outfit my home with Colin's products as long as they continue to meet (and they typically beat) our expectations. I gave Colin a rough sketch of the coffee table we wanted and he delivered exactly what we had envisioned, we have since ordered stools, a tv stand, and an end table. I recommend working with Purpose and Pine for your next piece of furniture!

After scouring the internet for months in need of a desk for my home office I wasn't able to find anything unique that was worth my money. That's when I contacted Colin... the piece of furniture he created is truly one of a kind. I've never received so many compliments. From the very beginning I knew this was going to be something special. I went to Colin with a rough sketch and a few ideas, he took it to the next level. The amount of thought put into this project was incredible. Not only was I quite particular with regards to the features I wanted, I also asked that he design it in such a way so it could be disassembled due to its sheer size. That is something he had never done before, but he certainly fooled me, it came together like a dream. Additionally, I was blown away by my level of involvement; from hand-picking the wood to selecting the stains and finishes it almost felt like I was the one building it. I can't say enough about Colin, he's an amazing craftsman and quite the artist as well. To have such foresight and knowledge is what turned concept into reality, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.In fact he's already building me another piece.
