THIEFS! They stole my GPS I had left in there as well as some cables. Very slow people. incompetent and they always try to rip you off by telling you you need to fix more things. I have been there twice and just for the convenience but not worth it. Complete jerks. They said car will be ready in 2 days then called at the end of the day saying its ready and if I don't pick it up in the next 30 min before they close I will be charged $45?

This place is awful. I went due to malfunctioning brakes. I was told I needed my brake lines replaced, which I authorized. The manager, who is just trying to sell things and couldn't care less about customer service, then told me that I had several other issues that needed to be repaired, which I declined. When I got my car back, the brakes worked for about a day and I had the same issue. Not trusting Midas, I took it to another mechanic who told me that if the brake lines had been replaced, it had not been done properly. Oh, by the way, no other repairs were needed and when I had the second mechanic replace the brake line, my car works perfectly. When I called Midas to tell them, the manager told me it wasn't his problem and I should have brought it in and paid for the other repairs.
This place is full of crooks. Awful customer service, awful mechanics and a manager who pretends to care, but really all he wants to do is sell you items you don't need.

I really wanted to like these guys and give them a top-notch rating, they seem very genuine and nice. But I just can't rate them "very good" based on how long it's taken for them to fix my car. I dropped it off Wednesday morning for a brake job, and it's now Friday afternoon and it's still not ready. I couldn't even get an estimate for 5 hours after I dropped it off. Granted, they did discover a sticking caliper that required a replacement, but that doesn't turn a brake job into something that should take 2 solid days. Maybe they're really busy, but I did have an appointment, and at no time did they indicate it would take this long. The price also seems a little high, but it's downtown DC, that's sorta to be expected.
