City Diner

I visit my Mom in Orlando every January for her birthday, and have been doing so for the past few years. Whenever we are in the mood for breakfast, it's usually at a chain place like Denny's. Since I live in New York City (born and raised), I avoid eating at franchises here. I saw City Diner while driving around one night, and after reading the Google reviews, we decided to try it out the following day. We went every morning thereafter for the remainder of my trip last month. The food was great and prepared exactly how we wanted it. The bathrooms were spotless each day and have a nice, modern look. The prices and ease of parking were definitely added pluses, too. Our favorite part of the experience was Rita. She was our waitress each time and is a very pleasant person. Her service was practically "white glove", which one does not expect at a diner. Rita and City Diner will be how I start each day whenever I am visiting Mom on all future trips, and my next one will be in May.

Always a delicious meal. Yes there is only one cook but I believe he is the owner and he puts his reputation in to every meal he makes for you. Service is always friendly and with a smile. And the price is fair. As long as you aren't in a hurry this is a perfect place to start your morning.

Good food for a good price. The owners doing a good job with the place and the food is attractive. Good little brunch place.

Great Way to Start Your Day - a colleague who’s lived in Orlando for 20-years just came across this place recently and invited me to breakfast here. Now I stop by on nearly every trip to town. Great staff - very friendly, fast and flavor some food, clean and no-nonsense. I always leave smiling.
