Benny had done a small job for us & seemed very pleasant. We asked him to come back & cut seed pods off high royal palms & to trim/shape an orchid tree. He had rented a high lift machine for another job, which made this easier. When I saw him moving the machine from the orchid tree to the 1st royal, I went out to check the orchid tree. There was one branch sticking out beyond the shape. I pointed that out & asked him to cut it back further. He refused, said “I’ve already moved the machine”. (He could have driven the machine back 40 ft & trimmed that branch in a few minutes). I was insistent, yet, he still flat out refused. In the end, I paid him for that day, but told him to forget about future work we had planned. “I will not do business with a contractor that flat out refuses to complete a job to the owner/customer’s satisfaction.” (I was only asking him to cut one branch to match the rest of the tree!) I know someone that had their tree trimmed by him. He was very friendly, honest and up front with the price before he started the job. He has good equipment and is very efficient at getting the job done.

The crew from Lopez tree service did a wonderful job taking down my huge Poinciana tree! I highly recommend them.
