If I could put zero stars I would. The system wouldn't even show that I only put one star. I went here a few times and thought that "Ms. Tammy" did a good job. However, she kept complaining about my thumb nail, because it collected small amounts of dirt under the nail, she said it was mold. I told her it had been previously damaged and would not adhere to the bed of the nail so there was a small area that would collect dirt under the nail . She insisted it was mold - which it wasn't. I told her that the thumb nail was damaged many years ago, when it got caught in a car door, when the door was closed. It was damaged at the matrix, which means it would not get better. For background here the nail has come completely off three times or more since the injury, and grew back poorly. I had spoken to doctors about this and they said it was not going to grow back normally because it was damaged in the matrix. Due to this damage there was a small area that would collect dirt under the nail which I clean out with hydrogen peroxide on a regular bases. My doctors were aware and agreed with this. On my last visit Ms. Tammy decided - while she was removing the previous polish and smoothing the nail using cutters and a rotary tool that she would remove most of the nail. She started out by cutting into the nail and leaving a jagged edge at the top, which would have to be smoothed. To my utter disbelief she started grinding off parts of the nail that were still attached to the bed of the nail. I sat there in shock. This was extremely painful. She sat there looking at me smugly while continuing to remove most of the nail. When I tried to say something she just continued. Now, I had to go to work the next day and I needed to have intact nails. I had no idea how to do a repair to put a nail and all back on my thumb. So, I let her continue through this extremely painful process, so that I could have my nails intact when I returned to work. This was extremely painful. In addition, because she grinded away the areas that did adhere to the nail bed, the bed was damaged and even less of the nail adheres to the bed, leaving a larger area to collect dirt. I have to clean it out several times a day. I had told her before not to mess with it. I would not recommend that anyone have any type of work done here -ever. She would not listen to me, she insisted that she was right and without warning me she basically assaulted me. I felt trapped because I needed my nail to be repaired after she cut into it. So, I let her complete the work. Never again. Services: Manicure, Gel manicure
