Earlier this year we were visiting from Tennessee when a stem broke off my fairly new presciption eyeglasses. These kind and friendly folks fixed me up quickly and for a very reasonable price, essentially saving my vacation. I can't recommend them highly enough, especially since I was able to completely enjoy my zip-line experience the next day with its gorgeous scenery.

Needed some bridge pads replaced. Walked in and had them changed right away. Great service! I'd see them for my next pair of new glasses. Mahalo!

Dean and Co. are by far the best opticians to work with in Hilo. On several occasions we have had glasses made to prescription with Eyewear Hilo. They ahve alsop rescued, repaired and re-framed lenses for us. They are more interested in doing right than looking for opportunities to sell things. Their repairs are always expert and a great value.

This place is great! Came in for an emergency bridge replacement on my prescription glasses and Dean was able to do it! Dean was also able to take off the super glue I accidently got on my lenses, for free! I highly recommend this place; the staff is super helpful and kind.
