1350 N Lake Shore Dr Apts

Lived here for a few years and what started as a pleasant experience turned horrible by the end and I could not have been happier to leave. If you are offered an apartment on the 1360 tower, I do not recommend. The laundry room is a disaster - so many of the machines do not work and sit with "Out of Service" signs for weeks on end making it extremely difficult to do laundry at reasonable times. And the machines that do work...expect dog hair and moldy smells. The elevators on the 1360 side were constantly out of service, making for long waits to go up or down and having to squeeze so many people into a tight elevator at a time. To cut costs, you now need to have any packages sent to you sent to Fetch first, an off site delivery service for an extra charge to you. The worst aspect is the customer service of the leasing office. My wife and I, between the two of us, had given Draper and Kramer our business for 7 years. We had the chance to move out when the pandemic started to find cheaper rent and more space but decided to stay. With an unexpected job change, we asked if our lease could be extended by two months - the leasing office said sure but only if we DOUBLED our rent. So much for reciprocating the slightest bit of loyalty back to tenants. The icing was an elderly neighbor who had lived on my floor for 10+ years. She told me how she was going to change units so she could live in an updated unit and the leasing office was charging her a move-in fee.

This is a great apartment, in a great location. Great proximity to Lake Michigan beaches, Lincoln Park, Magnificent mile, and restaurants and bars. The staff is fantastic- very friendly and responsive to our requests. We are happy we live here! - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

1350 has always been a friendly well managed and maintained community of always courteous and helpful employees and the best tenant neighbors we ever had. The Leasing and Maintenance staffs have especially been most thoughtful, effective and efficient in responding to our needs. This is an awesome place to live. The staff is caring, courteous and professional. Common areas are clean and beautiful. The laundry facilities are nice.
