I absolutely loved my time here at Steven Papageorge. Itll always be my 2nd home as I visit it from time to time. I really love Mrs. Carol and Summer, as theyve really built the foundation of basic hair cutting and coloring for me. Im so much more out of my comfort zone than I was ever before as being around people has really improved my social skills. The contests that Steven hosts will always have a special place in my heart, because those were the highlights of my time here - I was able to bring out my creativity with them and they were so much fun. This place is such a hidden gem, that I highly recommend it to anyone whose looking for flexible schedules and caring teachers.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This place is terrible and a bunch of rip offs. I paid for my schooling out of pocket and went for less than 80 hrs and decided this wasn't for me.. It was back when they were on Belmont and the teachers barely spoke english and it was all women gossiping all the time. I left and they stuck me with a $19,000.00 bill. They collected all my supplies, heads, sissors, books etc. Yet college loans are not forgivable and I paid $19k for less than 80 hrs ( 2 weeks full time).and believe me they are not worth that much an hour. so beware unless you know you're absolutely positively gonna be a hairdresser. Don't step foot in there cause they'll take your money and stick you with the entire bill, and they don't care cuz they got their money and they can make more money by sticking someone in your spot if you're not there.

Had an amazing experience attending Steven Papageorge Academy. They taught me everything I need to know to feel prepared to go out on the floor as well as for my state boards. Ive met some of the most amazing future stylists as well as life long friends, educators and professionals whove come in to show us what they do. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I love hair and I love the people at this school, they inspired me daily and never let my dreams die out. Heres some photos of the work Ive done thanks to my amazing teachers for training me! Love you all Update: Ive taken my state boards and passed and could not feel happier and felt soooo prepared for the test that it was a breeze! Thank you to the amazing teachers who helped me achieve my dream of becoming a cosmetologist
