This review is strictly from the initial call, no services were rendered. I spoke with Fern for about ten minutes and it was a complete waste of time. At the beginning of the call she had something pop up to attend to and I waited about a minute or two for her attention again, I was told multiple times to answer with just one sentence, and the entire mood felt rushed as though she had better things to do. She was honest that she didn’t see my case as valid which is perfectly okay. But after making me answer her questions with limited times and words, she herself spoke at great length about how much she charges (REPEATEDLY telling me her rate, $375/hr), how she gets so many calls, and how busy she is with the clients she does have. I’d be fine with her telling me she would not be the best choice for my case but she needs to work on her delivery. In all that I managed to get in a question based on pure curiosity and she wouldn’t answer it because it would take too long and she would need to charge, thus came another long winded explanation as to why. So again she wouldn’t stop talking about how busy she is, her rate, and all that nonsense. For someone so busy she sure does talk a lot. So I interrupted her, told her that’s okay because I’m totally turned off by this and tried to end the call. She immediately became defensive, very defensive until I interrupted her again to respectfully end the call. She may not be the best choice for me but she popped up as one of the top rated lawyers for this type of case. For being the best by Google standards it’s a shame that she presents herself in a way that is too big, too busy, hyper focused on her rate, and a very cold personality.
