image This was the worst hair I got in my enter braiding experience they messed my hair at the back then when we were tried to ask her to help fix my head she started saying it was not her fault yet we paying her she act as if we did not pay her and their time management is very bad and their cleanliness is even worse the towels are really dirty I advise you to take your own towels.

image Be careful when you go to this saloon make sure you check whatever they are doing every step of the way your going to end up with completely different styles. you go in with good intention of Supporting an African business and they are very an professional and worst of all poor communication they are not going to accept their fault. Now I understand way this people need to go to a cosmetology school .

image I had an appointment at 10am and even though I was about 15 mins late, Aissatu waited for me and started my hair immediately. I showed her what I wanted and she did a great job! Also nice that braiding hair is included in the price. Thank you!

image You can tell my hair wasn't combed through and braided in. It was being yanked and pulled out the whole time. Bad service, uncooperative with refunds........
I went to place hoping to patron a Black business and I received awful service. They said, come washed and dried. I do admit my hair was still wet at the ends.
Someone tried to comb my 4c hair with one hand and dry it with the other. She barely was combing throw my hair, she was ripping it out. Then while braiding it was obvious she didn't understand how to do goddess braids, no big deal I thought, I'm sure she'll figure it out. She began braiding and ripping out my hair because my curls are so tight. She didn't put anything on hair besides braiding gel. No spray bottle in sight to slick my hair into braids.
She finished and I paid through cash app. She didn't show me my hair and Aisha let me walk out of the shopping looking like this.
I felt a bit of colorism, I'm not gonna lie. When I called Aisha to express my dislike for the job that was done I said I'll request $40 back out of the $60. She told me no, she'll give me a discount the next time I come in. I told her I'm not coming back and she refused to give me back my money. She said my hair was too thick, that's why it came out like that. I said, I didn't know you couldn't do thick hair or else I would've have come.
A lot of their customers have wavy and 2b hair or it's relaxed. Why would an African braiding shop not be able to do 4c curly hair? I'm genuinely hurt and traumatized.

image All of the reviews about lack of professionalism are true. I made an appointment with Aisha one week before I wanted to get my hair done. She told me to call back to confirm two days before my appointment. I did and I arrived 5 minutes early on the day of. When I arrived, she told me that I didn't confirm my appointment, so I'd have to wait for 1.5 hours. I left. Do not do business here. Service: Hairstyling
