Applebee’s Grill + Bar

The manager needs major training as well as the staff we were suggested to sit at the bar for faster service so we did. We waited 30 minutes before we were given menus then we ordered food & drinks. We waited another 30 minutes for our drinks and almost an hour for our food. Once we were given our food they forgot the ranch sauce for our appetizer. Plus! The manager was already dealing with another unhappy customer. & to top it off another table actually walked out. There were some tables with dirty dishes which the hostess was aware of but neglect to acknowledge so she wouldn't have to pick anything up. That was confirmed because a fellow co worker called the hostess right back to clean the tables up. Such a shame this places is turning into a dump.

Very sad to see such a great place have such a low rating. I had it for the first time yesterday, and had a horrifically long wait for my food. The server kept checking on me though, and when I did get my food, it was great.

Upon arriving and meeting my date, we sat and talked for about 10 minutes before the waitress Twyla arrived to ask if we wanted anything to drink. I ask her for a Kiwi margarita. She leaves and comes back 5 min later to question what type of drink did I order. 15 min later a different waitress takes our food order. I specially request for my chicken to be juicy with no rough edges. When my meal came, the onions were burnt, the shrimps and chicken we seasoned well but the chickens edges were rough. The potatoes were dry and some were burnt. My date had steak, potatoes and broccoli. He indicated that the steak was tough, taste like cardboard, and that the broccoli was rather crunchy. Overall, my very first experience with Applebee's where a total disgrace. The only thing that I can say is that my date and I had a complete undisturbed conversation. Thank u for our privacy
