Saugansh School for the Young Years

I can't believe how few reviews there are here... but for anyone unsure about where to send their kids... look no further. The teachers here are all so fantastic. When our daughter began her first year (tue/thur) she had a long way to go in terms of speech. Mrs. Kristie has been so kind in helping us figure out what extra help she's needed, and what to work on at home. It's really hard trying to navigate affordable pre school programs in Chicago and I feel lucky we chose SSYY. She's attending again this year and is so excited to go back. Definitely recommend!

This was my son's first preschool and it was wonderful. At just 2 3/4 hours a day, it was a great intro to a learning environment. The teachers could not have been more warm and nurturing, there were plenty of opportunities for creativity and the learning was fun and not pressured. Perfect for preschoolers. My son absolutely loved it.

My elder son attended SSYY for two years, and my younger son is now on his second year here.  I love this school!  The teachers are awesome, and the facility is great.  Both of my kids have been exceedingly happy here.  My elder son who is now in first grade still misses it.  SSYY has been a great introduction to school for both of my kids because the environment that the teachers create is so caring and positive and they learn a ton too.  I could not be more satisfied with this school!
