Feldco Windows, Siding & Doors

Terrible experience with Feldco all around. We hired Feldco to install two walls of windows and our front door for a $19,000 job. It was a waste of every penny, and we desperately wish we had gone with any other company. They started the installation in August 2021, and now in February 2022 it is still unfinished. There is uncaulked gaps allowing moisture in, the caulk job overall was very sloppy, the windows are not installed level so there is now cold air rushing into our house, and the door installer was in such a rush our siding is damaged from the drill slipping repeatedly. The Feldco salesperson stood in our living room for full 90 minutes assuring us we would be 100% satisfied, and that the warranty would cover any issues. Not only are we completely unsatisfied, but this company does not answer the phone, nor do they return calls or emails. The Feldco warranty is completely useless because they do not respond to customer calls or complaints. They are VERY responsive and professional for the sales portion ONLY, and then as soon as you sign a contract it's as if you're dealing with an entirely different company that doesn't even care about finishing the job you paid them to do. RUN.

Installers are good but that is it. Having lots of issues including windows being broken, cracked frame etc. Wish I would've known

My salesman stated that he would check in periodically, keep me updated about when work would start, etc. Never heard from him again, even when I called with a question. Be aware that subcontractors are used for install. My windows were measured incorrectly, (or else they were made to the wrong dimensions). When I overheard one installer ask another, "who measured these?", I knew there was a problem. Turns out several windows didn't fit. One was installed with a patch job to make a too narrow window fit the hole. Another original window was removed and put back in, minus the storm window, right before our arctic blast hit. Luckily, I could shut that room off because it was very drafty and freezing cold. Over 2 months of a cold winter and I am still waiting to have a replacment window installed. They are not very good at communication. I have voiced my concerns & objections, & am still waiting for them to be resolved.

Currently going through a horrible experience with Feldco, three months ago I ordered windows through the company. Finally got the call to get them installed and when they came out they notified me that the windows they had were too large because the company measured them improperly. Therefore we would have to start the entire process over again. So here I am having to wait another three months to get new windows manufactured. After spending $15k with the company no one has called to offer a discount or reimbursement on the final price or offered any kind of customer service solution. We are trying to rush to get these projects finished to sell the house in a few months and the anxiety this places on us as a homeowner is unacceptable. We were going to go through the company to replace our gutters but after this experience we will definitely be going with someone else.
