Chocolate Mansion

This place was everything we were expecting and more. We stayed in the Twin Bing Suite, and it had a ton of space including a very big and fancy bathroom. The whole Chocolate Mansion was fascinating and fun to explore. The owners really worked with us through some booking issues, and were very flexible with us. We also liked the self-service style of check-in and check-out. It made it very simple, easy, and hassle free. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to stay in a place that's not just your average hotel room.

If you love historic buildings/homes, you will not regret this. Absolutely beautiful. Beautifully restored and maintained. with the self check in, it was very private (admittedly, midwinter - we didn't have to share with any other tenants). Did run into the daily people, who were friendly, but not obtrusive. We are looking forward to staying again.

My husband and I stayed in the Jelly Bean room. The whole place is lovely!! Everything was clean and comfortable! Easy check in. Would have been five stars except for two issues: Jelly bean shares a bathroom with the Lemon Drop room. And the furnace is RIGHT next to the bed and is loud! Woke us up everytime it turned on. We would love to stay here again when passing through and would just plan on getting a suite to fix both those problems. We ran into the caretaker on our way out. He was so friendly and gave us a tour! Again the place is soooo gorgeous!!! Would recommend and stay again!
