Do not bother. They don't come back to bury the line in your yard unless you call month after month to remind them. They also promise a 2 year contract and then raise your rates after 1 year and pretend like they didn't have that promotion. Poor customer service and sub-par quality internet.

Terrible customer service and terrible overall service. You will be better going with one of the national brands versus Consolidated. But, if you like slow internet that is spotty, and being berated by customer service when you call with any issues Consolidated is for you!

15 years ago we were thrilled to move to a neighborhood that had Everest phone/internet/cable available in it. Loved Everest - fantastic service at a very reasonable price. But, the company sold, and sold again, and I think a third time, and every time it has been sold the service has gotten worse and the price has escalated. Consolidated Communications absolutely sucks. I'm sure there's worse - there's always worse - but we often have broadcasts interrupted, service goes out, the DVR needs rebooted, our voicemail has never worked and they can't fix it, wait times for customer service is stupid long, (on a 30 minute and counting wait right now), and the price just keeps going up. It's like they're BEGGING us to cut the cable and go with all internet based services through a DIFFERENT provider. UPDATE: Evidently Consolidated closed all it's KC offices. Gee, nice of them to let the hostages, er, sorry, customers, know. Have had to get a hold of someone in service over the phone a couple times this week, and there's NO ANSWER, no message letting you know if someone might eventually answer, nothing. Just music. How much time do you have in your day to just be on perpetual hold, hoping someone might eventually answer - or not? Suckiest, sucking, sucker ripoff company ever!
