I highly recommend Mo-Kan Home Improvement. When my roof started leaking in multiple places after a hailstorm this past spring, and during a pouring rain, I had no idea what to do or whom to call. A friend whose husband is a builder recommended Jeff at Mo-Kan. He actually sent a crew out in a thunderstorm to put a tarp on my roof! When my insurance company refused to cover the damage, Jeff actually got involved to help by offering photos as proof of the roof damage. The insurance company never did cover this, and the ordeal went on for a while, because I had extensive communication with my soon-to-be-former company. In the end, when I realized I would have to pay for it myself, Jeff offered me an extremely fair price, and I couldn’t be happier with the new roof! Throughout the entire process, Jeff stayed in touch and when the house leaked again, he sent a crew out to add another tarp. When a windstorm blew the tarp off, his crew came out again and replaced it. Every single time there was business concerning the project, Jeff and his crew were here exactly when they said they’d be, and everyone was extremely nice. After installing the new roof, they left my driveway and porch way cleaner than before the project began. I can’t say enough nice things about this great company!

We were getting water in the basement due to guttering and rain run-off issues. Our realtor put us in contact with Jeff. Jeff made it a priority in his already busy day to come have a look the same afternoon we contacted him. He pointed out and explained in detail some shortcomings in the guttering and drainage. He wanted his guttering guy to have a look and confirm and help build the quote. He arrived less than 2 hours after Jeff left. To say he was extremely knowledgeable is a gross understatement. Angles, spout locations, water capacity... all that, off the top of his head. We had a quote in-hand in less than 24 hours and the work was done 4 days later. Jeff and his team are the most honest, affable, hardworking folks we’ve ever had the privilege of using. The price was reasonable/fair and they were able to replace our entire guttering set up- over 6,100 linear feet in a single day. It was truly fascinating watching his masterful crew work their craft. In the end we were left with exquisite (never thought I’d say that about such a thing) gutters. All seamless and perfectly tailored to each spot. To further aid in runoff some long extensions were custom fabricated for three downspouts that are hinged so they can be moved for mowing. They truly thought of everything and had a plan for it. And when they were done they did the most thorough walkthrough with me and asked if there were any questions. Once that was completed they walked the yard several times, policing even the smallest scrap or nail or whatnot. They even moved the truck/trailer to get the scraps that fell in the street during fabrication. People will say so-and-so is a class act and superlatives of this nature. All of which apply to MoKan, Jeff and his team. Ultimately, for me, as a small town guy, it comes down to trust. Can you trust you contractor, will his people be trustworthy, will the delivered product meet expectations? The answer with MoKan is no: meeting expectations is what some other places do. They exceed them in every quantifiable dimension. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jeff and MoKan to anyone. Anyone. They know their business, they’re honest, fair and upfront. It simply can’t be done better than MoKan.

Jeff was very professional. Assisted with negotiating with our insurance company in a competent and professional manner. The work to replace our roof was done exceptionally well such that we contracted with Jeff to handle some home repairs as well. I have and will continue to refer Jeff to anyone.
