Tobler's Flowers

I was completely disappointed in our experience with Toblers for my wedding on October 12th, 2013. We order boutonnieres from them for all the guys in our party, you would have thought this would be an easy venture since we were doing single white roses. We weren't impressed when we went in to place the order initially but figured again, this was an easy order and it should be "ok". Went to pick up the flowers on the day of the wedding and they weren't there, somehow they decided we were going to be picking them up from a completely different location than the 119th st location we ordered them from. They did make up a new batch and delivered them to the venue before photography was scheduled to begin but this should have been handled right the first time... we will NEVER use them again, they are too unreliable.

My mom and I wanted to use Toblers for my wedding because we had used them before and have been happy, but this was the worst experience ever. My mom and I had made an appointment with them back in March to get a general idea of what the flowers would look like. Well, when we called they made us feel as if no one had ever done this before and made us feel very uncomfortable. Then the day of our appointment the entire staff seemed like they had no idea of our appointment and the lady we had set it up with was no longer working there, a phone call would have been nice. Well, we finally got our order in and everything payed, but we never got a confirmation call before the wedding, so we had to call them to make sure everything was still on, thank God it was. Well, when we arrived the day of my wedding we were highly disappointed in the quality of the flowers and craftsmanship. My bouquet was not as big as we discussed and the beading was completely different (no one ever called me to tell me my first pick was no longer available, plus the beading on the ribbon was completely lopsided), my flower girl's flowers were suppose to be on a hair clip and was not, and my groom's flower was pathetic, the groomsmen's flowers looked better! After a very long heated discussion with Loretta, the staff that was in the office that day told us that they would fix everything and deliver them to my venue. My mom and I were very disappointed with Lorretta. I would definitely NOT use Toblers again.

I contracted with Tobler's Flowers to provide fresh-cut flowers for a bridal shower I was hosting. I provided the vases, some very general guidelines about colors and my budget. They were extremely accommodating and the end result was 12 beautiful flower arrangements in my vases plus a larger one that they designed for the bride-to-be's table. The larger one used very unique flowers and had a fabulous design. They delivered on time and on budget - a perfect partner and I will certainly use Tobler's the next time I have a need for fresh flowers!

I received flowers from Tobler's from a friend a few weeks ago. That floral arrangement lasted over 2 weeks. I was very pleased with the quality of their flowers.

I was supremely disappointed with the quality of roses I purchased here. I needed roses to take to the hospital after my mother-in-law had surgery. I was running late, and the lady arranged them in a timely manner, but it was the scraggliest dozen roses I've ever seen. It was to the point of embarrassment. If I had time, I would have stop at another place. I even considered not giving them to her, but I didn't want to go empty handed. I originally asked for a dozen & half (it is usually the perfect amount) the lady informed me that a dozen was $65, so 18 would be $98. I figured since the dozen was so much, they must fill it in nicely. So I took a chance and ordered just a dozen. My gamble was my mistake (because the 'nice filler' was sparse baby's breath- not even ferns added). But their mistake was selling over picked (when a rose starts to age florist will pick the wilted petals off) & small petal roses at premium prices. It kept me mad the whole car ride to the hospital. I would have been better off purchasing the $24 roses at Price Chopper in the same shopping area. PC's were red (which I didn't want) but at least the bloom was a decent size and density... and weren't already wilting.
