After calling other lawn care services who put me on a a bit of a back burner, I reached out to KC Lawn Services. They are very professional, provide excellent service, customer service, and communication. I got on a regular schedule with them and glad that I did. My lawn looks great thanks to them. For these reasons I highly recommend them.

They just didn’t show up. No communication from anyone. No call no show. After I reached out 3x, I finally got a response - the owner gave an inaccurate excuse as to why they didn’t show. A single lane closure for a pothole repair deterred them from turning down a major road. But, again, I didn’t find this out until 10 days later when I finally got a response after a 2nd straight week of no call no shows. The excuse for week 2 is that they just can’t find anyone to work. Still not sure the reason the owner never reached out about them not coming. It sounds like the wheels are falling off. Doesn’t look to be getting better anytime soon… Service: Lawn mowing/maintenance

Curtis, the new manager, was very helpful and responded to me quickly! Had a party at our house and my lawn mower was not working. Him and his crew was able to squeeze me in on short notice and Curtis emphasized this has to be done. Thanks for the help!

I have been a satisfied customer of KC Lawn Services for many years and would definitely recommend them. They are very reliable, dependable, and always do a great job. If I have any specific concerns or requests, Joe and his crew will go above and beyond to accommodate. Prices are reasonable and payment is made so easily on Quick Books. Careless crew and non-caring part-time owner (owners’ full-time job is a teacher). Have a free-standing basketball goal. The base is filled with liquid to provide weight so goal does not fall over. Careless mowers cut into the base destroying it. KC Lawn Services replaced it. Same thing happened a second time with the new base. Owner said, “it does not look like a spot where we would have been mowing.” Well, how else do you explain the gash in the base and the liquid that is oozing out? KC Lawn Services dropped their mowing charges for the month because of their careless mistake, but a new goal with assembly will cost me four times the amount of their monthly charge. Crew has also destroyed two plastic downspouts due to careless weed trimming. Anytime you point out an issue with the owner he places blame on the “new guy” and says he will talk to them about it. Problem is, the issue is never resolved. If you try and talk to the crew about it, they scatter and don’t want to be bothered. There are a lot of “new guys” at KC Lawn Services and the turn-over rate seems to be high for this company. Another issue - I told KC Lawn Services, do not mow or trim where the driveway widens out. Simple request right? Well, for months they did this wrong and I pointed it out weekly. Issue was never resolved. Want your leaves removed? Better be patient, because it usually takes two or three weeks to get the job done. Want to grow new grass in the fall? Good luck as the mowers will smash the new seed growth. Got utility locate flags in your yard? No problem, the crew will mow them over. Anything in the path of the mower is gone. So if your house explodes because the utility crew hit a gas line, because the locate flags were gone, oh well!! Want an estimate for bush trimming? Still waiting on mine from 4 months ago. So, good luck if you choose this company. If you have any issues, they may be accommodating at first, but eventually they will tell you to “seek the service of another lawn service provider”.
