I called this company because my air conditioning was blowing warm air. This company came out and was only at my home for 15 minutes and charged me for 7lbs of freon, charged for a stop leak $90 and 1st hour of labor $90. The total charge was $410. They came on a Friday, when I woke up Saturday morning my air was blowing warm air again. I am VERY ANGRY with this company. I went weeks suffering with no air during the month of May and June. I paid another company $60 for a second opinion which I was told that there was no leak and that I just needed freon. I was already out of $410 and really nervous about paying anyone else for service. I bought this to put around the house to help cool the house that cost me another $200. I was talking to my neighbor about it and he told me he use to do commercial HVAC and had freon in his home. He came back and put in 3lbs of freon and it has been working ever since. I disputed the charge with Bank of America credit card, and they denied the dispute. I am closing my bank of america credit card account. This company has cost me so much money and made me suffer for over a month with no air. They were also very mean when I talked to them. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. They say they have been in business for so many years. That doesn't mean a damn thing if you are not doing what is paid for. This is a WARNING to others to pass this company. Max Air was the company that came to give the second opinion and they were very nice. I don't have $410 to give away for nothing. I do believe in Karma.

Had the same issue as another reviewer. Guy came by and determined within 2 minutes that we needed a new circuit board. Said to call the company and install it myself. Acted like he was doing me a favor not charging me. Because of the other reviewer, I decided to call Coolman Air. They found that my unit was actually leaking and it'd lost 5 gallons of coolant which is why it wasn't turning on. I don't think the guy from Bmore heating and cooling even looked. It also clearly says on the unit that only licensed professionals should install a irurit board. Could have been out $600 for a part i didn't even need and my unit would have still been leaking! Skip this place and go with someone that's actually there to fix the issue. It's been 4 days and the unit is still running great thanks to Coolman Air Conditioning! 👍

Very professional, understanding they always put the customer first and to me it's a plus . They are also well priced. If you need estimates or any kind of work they are the go to place .

Our AC stopped working so we had a technician from Baltimore Heating & Cooling come check it out. He looked at the system and said that we needed a new control board. He said they would order it on Monday and call to set up a time to install it on Tuesday. I didn't hear anything Monday, so I called the office number Tuesday and was told that they were having trouble finding the part. On Wednesday, they left me a message saying that I would need to call the local dealer myself to order it. They didn't give me a part number. I called the dealer and was told that 1) I needed a part number and 2) that they will only sell to licensed technicians. I called BHC and left a message telling them that they would have to order the part, or at least give me a part number. I gave up on BHC and I called another HVAC company to come look at the issue. They came the same afternoon and got the system back up and running for less than $100. The kicker is that their technician told me that my unit doesn't even have a control board. I had received good service from BHC in the past, but I honestly don't know what the hell happened in this instance. At least they didn't charge me anything for the initial diagnosis.
