Hectic Escape Challenge

It was a mediocre room that was made significantly worse by an unenthusiastic, unprepared, and rude employee. The room was not completely set up and the employee forgot to inform us of multiple directions. The room was not intuitive. A few of us had been to escape rooms in the past where clues came in a variety of forms and each clue led to another, whereas this room was simply keys unlocking clues which unlocked codes, which led to more keys. There was a major lack of variety. We were unable to find the final clue because the lock was so finicky and therefore we were not able to escape the room. Furthermore, and perhaps most disappointing, was that when the timer completed and we asked about what we missed, we were told something we already knew, re-tried the lock, got the next clue, asked if we could continue, or at least know what came next, we were told "nope, you guys didn't finish, you gotta leave now." We all left feeling disappointed and unsatisfied.

Really loved the room, we did Icarus. The owner is amazing and really obviously loves escape rooms and her craft. Will be trying the rest soon. Definitely would recommend!

The owner was really nice, and very welcoming. And the dog was cute. The room was really cool, and it makes you think. Highly recommend it. We all had fun, and it was amazing.
