Sad to see a corporation buy property on a small lake and not be friendly to neighbors

I recently tent camped here with my two siblings. We're novices at rustic camping but certainly enjoyed the beautiful grounds and were pleasantly surprised it wasn't much busier over Labor day weekend. We often saw deer, including 2 fawns during our stay. An unexpected bonus was a long sink/rinse area at our shared campsite. We had an easy walk to the modern restrooms from Mesa Verde loop. I didn't realize that the showers have on-demand hot water the first evening. If they're not busy, you may need to let it run awhile... unless you enjoy an envigorating cold shower :) We didn't need anything during our stay, but it was comforting that we could rent essentials if we'd forgotten something. The staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Jamie had great communication throughout the camping experience. We plan to return and wished we could have stayed longer.

We have stayed here every weekend in August. Are staying again for labor day. It is beautiful and serene here. A leave it better than you came spot for sure. We had rabbits and fawns right up by our cabin and porch. The staff was always super helpful and friendly. We always get a mini cabin which is just your basic rustic cabin experience. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family with or without kids. It is a great place to get away from the Hassel of everyday life. It has even been a great place for me to just unwind and enjoy nature after work. Jamie is an amazing help and Annie has been great as well. I love it here. It will be my go to next summer for sure.

We rented the Whitetail cabin, which is wheelchair accessible. The cabin has all the basics (stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, garages, 2 couches, coffee table, kitchen table with 4 chairs, 2 showers and 2 bathroom stalls). It had two bunks beds and one queen with the best memory foam mattresses! Outside it had a fire pit and picnic table under a shelter. Clean and comfortable interior for a great price! Make sure to bring your own towels, dishes/cookware, sleeping bag/bedding.
