Staples

I usually like going here because they have good deals around back to school, and when they have their five dollar off coupons. Went in there and you can barely find any prices on anything, everything is not organized and pretty dirty; shelves are pretty empty. Sad because this place is a good place for one stop shop. I guess not anymore, corporate should really do something, especially because the store is like a time warp to the early 2000s because the signs are getting very yellowed and some are even super brittle! Some old signs are spray painted over. I wish the company would remodel the store and close for a few weeks. It really needs it, I dont blame it on the workers either. (UPDATE: APRIL 2020) Staples in Rochester has announced they will be permanently closing on April 24th. I am not sure if they will be having sales or not.

The print shop is either ridiculously understaffed or need help reorganizing/ retaining. I've gone there twice in my life and have not been fully satisfied with the results. Each time I go there it's at least a 30 minute wait sure to only 1 person working and trying to assist 3-4 people at once. You can tell the workers are burnt out by how they respond to customers and sometimes short tempered answers. I called to adjust my order and was told it was done, went to receive my order and nothing was adjusted and to find it I should have canceled my order. Luckily they issued me a refund but the quality of the product wasn't too my expectations. I ended up ordering through vista print. I don't think I'll ever use their services again.

So, I made a mistake by not paying attention to how many business cards I had left... I looked yesterday and realized I had like 3 left. I have a huge event for NYE tomorrow, which will require me having cards for upcoming events. I normally get mine done at a business down in Miami but there definitely wasnt enough time for that. I scrolled upon Staples 24 hour instant print for cards and decided to push my luck and try it. Did so, and well... Im impressed. Not only by how they actually turned out, for a less than 24hr order.. but by how they were perfectly done, cut, and printed off! Thora, is my hero!!! She showed me that their online template didnt collect what I had predone myself with aligning my art with in the print and bleed lines. She printed off quite a few, that were duds.. then eventually got it 100%. All that work, for a $20 order. She deserves me writing a review all over where ever allows me to review for her!! Haha. Way to excel at your job, Thora. Heres to you, Cheers!! (:
