  • Chili's Bean Dip

Terrible, it tastes flavorless and burned.

I used to love this place. Now it seems to have taken a drastic dive. Both of our orders were wrong. The burgers were very burnt and the cashier seemed unaware of how to add cash and then run the rest the card. She handed me my cash back and just used the card. But mostly the fact that the burgers were burnt and I saw the lady preparing them balance a dirty plastic basket on top of a bun in her palm (super unsanitary!) that really sealed the deal. I won't be back to this location again.

Christy's is closed. Sorry if this is old news but its news to me having lived in South Florida for the last 3 years. I remember when they opened, it was awesome to see those huge red burgers cooked to order on the griddle. Spicy fries were awesome and fixins bar was good and the place was clean. Fast forward to one of my trips home, probably 2012 and I had to get my burger fix. Floor was dirty, my first impression. Next I noticed the fixins bar had nasty old lettuce, onions and tomatoes. But the killer is, when we ordered, they pulled a couple of precooked burgers out of hot water and straight to the grill for 2 minutes. Every grill cook knows cooking in water leeches flavor out of anything, from vegetables to protein. I hope their other local endeavors take into account their mistakes and learn from it, becaues my first Christy's experience was life-changing! Now I have to take a road trip to hope others hold up the tradition.

I was at this location last evening with my wife. The toppings/condiment bar has gone from being filled with different options for you to utilize to barely 1/4th full of options. The restroom was dirty, and in need of a very thorough deep cleaning. My wife and I both noticed that the spicy fries that we ordered tasted "off". I've had fries from places where the oil had started going bad, the fries last night tasted worse. Worst of all, within an hour of having eaten, I was in desperate need of needing to use the restroom at a nearby store, due to my guts feeling like they were being stabbed from the inside. If you want a good burger, go to the Red Robin a few miles closer to the mall.
