BEWARE! Krista misrepresented my case to the board, and when I brought it to her attention and suggested she resubmit, she said I couldn't talk to her like that, rather than address the error she made. She was unapologetic and did not care that I am soon to be on foot, or that I have to spend money I've saved for the repairs in having it towed back to my house, where it can remind me daily that I have no running vehicle, that my husband must pay 2/3 of his daily take home pay for ubers, and I get to enjoy the constant anxiety of an even tighter budget as well as trying to find rides to my stage 4 metastatic breast cancer treatments. CHMA is a phenomenal neighbors helping neighbors type organization run by good hearted volunteers. I can't say enough about how wonderful these people are from organizing charity events to giving assistance grants, they do it all and then some to make sure as many families in crisis as possible get the help they need.
