Strategic Patent Law -- Russ Weinzimmer & Associates, PC

When I called Russ to inquire about obtaining a patent for a SAAS idea last week, I was pleasantly surprised with his a) extensive knowledge and experience regarding every angle of patent law and acumen, b) generosity of time and trustworthy advice (he even spoke with my friend who owns a business later that day regarding trademarks and legal documents), and c) fair and competitive pricing. I received a 10 Day Cease and Desist order regarding the use of a product name from another attorney. I spoke to Russ who provided amazing clarity on how to respond. VERY KNOWLEDEABLE, but we did not come to an agreement for his services.

Russ is an outstanding patent attorney. Before hiring Russ, I worked with another patent attorney in a big law firm, and they told me that my invention could not be patented. This resulted in me loosing money on attorney fees and loosing time on filing the patent. I nearly gave up filing my patent. Nonetheless, I later realized that the attorneys did not actually understand the whole premise of my patent. I interviewed 6 other patent attorneys and I understood that they didnt care or have an aptitude to understand the logic behind my invention and why it was unique. Finally, I met Russ and saw that he was different from all other attorneys. He has a distinctive gift for common sense and for understanding complexities. These skills proved to be invaluable for understanding my obscure invention in an unfamiliar industry and for writing a watertight patent. I am very happy with the patent that Russ wrote for me. I dont think I could have described my invention better even if I were a patent attorney. Besides being immensely experienced, knowledgeable, and insightful, Russ also loves his job. He takes pride in the work he does. He looks at every patent that he files as his legacy. I would highly recommend Russ to my family and friends, as he is a highly qualified expert who cares for his clients and for the work he does.

Russ is clear, detailed, and extremely well-versed not just in patent law matters, but much further in business consultations and services. Calling him with any relevant question or concern--whether actually relevant or only perceived as such--is a great idea!
