Ramada East Orange

I mean I don't believe its really a Ramada Inn, but if they say so. The language barrier of every staff member makes it hard to communicate. Its not clean and it smells awful. I didn't even want to use the shower. The location is moderately safe for l9cals, but if your not from that area, don't do it to yourself. So over priced, I only wanted because it had smoking rooms it claimed, but when I arrived I was told it was just a smoking area. When I complained then it was OK to smoke? I could have been right downtown or at the airport for a few dollars more. No

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Please for your own sake but ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE COMING WITH FAMILY, DO NOT COME HERE. We didn't know that this is a welfare hotel at the time of booking and expected a decent stay considering Ramada is typically not the worst. That being said, everywhere we went excluding our own room smelt like weed, and people who stayed here displayed extremely aggressive behaviour (especially upon interaction) which explains why even the employees stay behind what I presume is BULLETPROOF glass at the front desk. Located in a not-so-safe area for sure, we heard a few gunshots during the night, not sure if those happened outside or inside the hotel. Rooms weren't any better either, had musty smells and showers were moldy. Sheets literally had some sort of brownish-red spots on them which I can only hope were bedbug blood stains. Regardless, not a good experience. Stay away from this hotel and this area at all costs. One star for basic shelter, and another for the fact that we weren't killed. Yikes.

I wish I can give 0 stars!!!! This hotel is the WORST Ive ever been to in my life!!!!!!!! Roaches crawling on the bed, water leakage In the walls, exposed wires, dirty stain mattress, dirty curtains, stained toilet seats!! I couldnt even stay after about a hour of checking in I had to check out!! They change my room three times and all the rooms were the same!!! PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!
