If the company tries to tell us to call customer service number saying they would like to "make it up to us", we have already tried. Multiple times. We are waiting. _____ I have no idea how this company can have such high reviews. For our cross-country move from east to west coast, we used Moishe's because of the good reviews we saw, the decent rate they gave us, and the time frame, which was 2- 14 days. The time frame was not ideal but we figured it was typical for a cross country move. Unfortunately, that was our mistake. Their website looks clean and updated, but their systems are completely out of date, which contributed to the beginning of things going downhill. It starts with poor responsiveness and lack of communication between each of the departments involved in the move: movers who got our stuff, NJ company, truck drivers, and the west coast folks. We moved from CT, so drivers had to drive up to pick up our things, drive them back down to NJ and store them at a larger site, and then REPACK them with other people's things (we found out this process later). If this sounds like a recipe for disaster, it was. First of all, we're in 2021, and we got no email updates throughout our time. Literally everything was either paper or phone, except for the initial quote. Secondly, they were very difficult to reach (and continue to be, currently). When we reached them, they couldn't tell us where our stuff was, where the truck was, and therefore gave us arbitrary ETA that changed every time we called them. Remember when they gave us an estimated time of 2-14 days? It took them 17 days. By the time they arrived, I had already started my new job and couldn't be there the day they arrived to help my spouse. Communication and interfacing was tough, but, hey, it wasn't the end of the world. BUT THEN THEY LOST OUR STUFF. I come home from my first day of work, and I learn that they lost the headboard to our bed. And the main supporting beam to the bed. And a box with things to set up our monitor. And what's the process of things that are lost? File a claim, that they make sure to tell you that it takes 3 weeks to process. We spoke with a woman who is in the customer service department, and she was incredibly rude, unhelpful, and clearly didn't care that the company she represents made a mistake. And when we tried to ask for updates, no response, no call back. And here we are, waiting for our claim to be processed. tldr: DO NOT USE MOISHE'S. This company is untrustworthy, careless, and unprofessional.

I used Moishe’s twice to move within the last 6 months. I really think they are great. First time we moved with Steven and his 4 person crew from NY to NJ and had to transport our stuff to 2 places (apartment and storage). Second time, we had to move our stuff from storage and apartment to another place. Benito and 4 other people arrived on time, introduced themselves, and started working right away. They worked really hard!!! I had to remind them to eat and drink. Anything I asked, they did it with a smile. They disassemble and assembled furniture. They wrapped everything with protective blankets during the move. They were very careful and respectful of the walls when they moved large pieces of furniture. I’m really happy that we used Moshe’s Moving company during our move!!! I would highly recommend them.
