Petro Home Services, relocated to Maspeth

I’m writing this review to let everyone who is thinking of becoming a Petro customer to beware, they are a bunch of crooks. This is what I'm in the process of right now. They are claiming they made an oil delivery to my residence if 110 gallons, however they cannot provide proof of delivery when I reached out to them on multiple occasions, they gave me 3 different stories why they couldn't provide proof of delivery which are all lies. They told me we don’t have record but we did deliver so you have to pay they must think people are idiots. I have 2 different cameras in front of my home, also the day they are claiming the fake delivery my tank was not even 1/2 full. Now they charged me late fees and sent this to collection. In the United States a vendor is required to show proof to their customers for any transaction, however Petro doesn't think so. I called Sunrise collection agency to request proof of this so-called debt. Even the collecting agency can't provide me with proof. I will sue them both Petro and the collecting agency for demanding payment with no proof. This also happened a year ago to a neighbor of mine which I have proof of. Beware of this company I had so many issues with them but I was in contract with them which I canceled after this ordeal and was also charged a $395 early termination fee. Prior to this they would delivery oil to me every 2 weeks I request once a month they told me OK and then continued deliveries every 2 weeks. They are money hungry crooks.

Good service, good delivery, answer the phone promptly BUT OUT OF SIGHT prices. Today's delivery was $1.60 per gallon more than competitors. On 200 gallons that's a lot for good service.

Petro is an absolute disaster. Horrible customer service and grossly understaffed. Rude customer service, eternal hold times. They give you multi-hour service windows and then never show up. Repairs under service contract take days and are not done properly. We have never had this much trouble with any company, ever. Use ANY other oil company you can find. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
