My wife and I were looking to buy a Volvo. We both have very busy work schedules so finding the time to shop, test drive and negotiate the purchase was a serious concern. We will never lease or buy a car without Matt Quelch again! Matt Quelch just helped my husband and me lease a new car and it was by far the most pleasant experience we’ve ever had going through this process. Matt is the founder of Consumer First Auto Consulting. We met Matt when he was working at a local dealership and he helped us lease a prior car. Subsequently he has started a consulting practice through which he takes the pain out of the highly antiquated car-purchasing process. Here’s a list of what Matt did for us: 1. After understanding what we were looking for in a car, our budget, etc., he gave us a short-list of recommended vehicles to consider. 2. Matt then set up appointments and accompanied us to dealerships where, other than showing our licenses for test-driving purposes, we were in and out. 3. Once we ID’d the car we wanted, Matt drove a model from the dealership to our house so we could determine the exact specifications we wanted in our car. 4. Matt then negotiated an excellent lease price on our behalf with the dealership. 5. Matt delivered our new car to us, brought the paperwork from the dealership for us to sign, and subsequently returned the paperwork along with our first payment to the dealership. 6. Last but certainly not least, Matt assisted us in preparing our previously leased car to be turned in. He connected us to a reliable, well-priced body shop to repair some damages and coordinated with a local dealership to receive our old car. Every step of the way, Matt was an excellent advisor and timely communicator. Never did a day go by without an update from Matt, even if just to tell us that the dealership was still working on locating or transporting our car. His customer service is stellar. He is committed to making the car buying experience a pleasurable one and he is excellent at doing just that! Matt’s fee was worth every penny.
