I was just at this barbershop with my two brothers who both got a beard trim. She seemed like a nice old lady and everything was going well - then she told us the price, $40 each. I know we’re in NYC but $40 for a 10 minute beard trim is ABSOLUTELY EXTORTIONATE. I looked up prices for beard trims at other barbers in the area and it’s more like $15. DO NOT go to this barber, she is a scam artist.

Antonella is fantastic. She gave me the perfect haircut, and spoke to me in Italian while doing so. Haircut was very reasonably priced. She does scissors or clippers. She also does haircuts in English. She'll be moving to another location in the neighborhood, and I'll be following her there. Address, for those interested, is 60 Beaver St. (3 Hanover Square).

If you’re a tourist steer clear of this seemly friendly old lady. She’ll take advantage of you and charge an extortionate price. $40 USD for a 10 minute beard trim is unbelievable.
