It used to be my husband's favorite store for button-down shirts and sweaters which he wears, pretty much, all year around. They carried great products accompanied by amazing customer service. Manager Ned and his assistant (younger Asian fellow) were always on top, making right suggestions and pulling out right products every time I went to the store. They would also put together several items and I would send my driver to pick it up. If something did not work out for my husband or he already had the same item thew would exchange and sent it over to his office by courier. It worked out very well until this summer when store was closed for a couple of months. After they reopened nothing was the same. Everyone left the company. I came to the store one tuesday morning and nobody was on the sales floor. After about 7 minutes a female associate came from the basement. She did not even bother to say hi or smile. I tried to pick up few shirts but she could not find size 41 for me. Also two sweaters I saw on corporate web site were not available for US market. She did not offer to contact other stores or to order it from the warehouse what former associates always did for me. When I asked what's going on with the store and customer service she stated that everyone left the company due to poor working conditions and ignorance by the headquarter and how company is rotating people from Italy to run New York store on week-by-week basis. She also mentioned that they pulled her from her store in Italy without asking her does she wants to go or not and "they threw her into this mess" which she doesn't have intention to clean it for them. Well, I said, I feel sorry for her but not for the company and went to shop somewhere else. It looks like this is the end of Paul & Shark in New York.
