Swan Valet Inc

Since moving away from the lower east side a few years ago, I have been searching for a laundry/dry cleaning service like swan valet and nothing comes close. You call in the morning, pickup arrived a few mins later, and laundry & dry cleaning is returned later that same day. In my nearly 6 years of using this service I had zero issues. No lost or damaged clothes, nothing. They take special care with delicates, several times pulled dry clean only clothes I accidentally left in laundry saving me ruined clothes, and even fix loose buttons. Tailoring is also great too.

Such a great cleaners! Quick pick up and delivery - clothes come back clean and folded perfectly. They also do great tailoring. Owners always friendly and kind! I’ve been using them for 6 years now even as I move further away from the store I haven’t found a better place in the East Village

WORST CLEANERS EVER! I was charged $40 to dry clean one 6-month-old comforter. What I got back was a laundered, ragged edge, ruined comforter. Luckily, I had two of the same comforter bought at the same time from Burlington Coat Factory. I took them both into the cleaners to show them the difference. The owner claims that the comforter was indeed dry cleaned and couldn't be the same as the other and that I should use another cleaners. He also said that dry cleaning or laundering was the same price, even though they charge $3.50 for laundered shirts and $5.50 for dry cleaned shirts. I argued that as a 10-year customer who has tolerated his dingy laundry service outcome for the delivery convenience due to I live on the same block, that he should apologize to me and offer a $20 discount on the price since he damaged my property. I also mentioned that as a businessman myself, you don't throw out a 10-year customer for $40, but to no effect. This man does not care about his customers, doing a good job and does not deserve your business.
