Had a great stay. No issue with the restruant closed, it's NYC there's a million places to eat. Super quiet hotel, clean, and a wonderful staff. Parking by valet. At a 7th floor corner room. Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Location : 5/5 More

Place is honestly not deserving of a Marriott name let alone a W hotel. Its a real shell of maybe what was hip trendy and luxe back when it opened in 2020.
Besides the location at the corner of Union Square park, there is NO lobby, NO bar or restaurant currently. Its a bare bones motel with service that matches with little to no training in W level hospitality. As a Titanium member with Marriott I can tell you for certain this is the lowest quality W hotel in the portfolio currently in the USA at least and potentially around the world. I would stay anywhere else for these prices unless your using points and its free.

Ok so the rooms look like you're at the Crayola factory. Maybe they were cute 15 years ago. I got in late after 9pm. Slept terrible. Just turn the heat off it's that forced air that you need to crack a window for $610.53. Woke up called the desk. I wanted to take a bath the stopper wasn't working for me. I'm old and like Epsom salts. Ran to Duane Reade then Starbucks get back and in that time no one made it up there. Bro you knocked on my door to clean at id like to say early af. Check out is like 11 or noon idk industry standard. I already figured out the bath tub. They knock as I'm in the bath. The man at the coffee bar was nice. I valeted my car that night. I went to work I had to be there at 11:30. Check one bag at the desk. Had some time to kill after work so I asked if they could check my two work bags so I could go to lunch. Guy says he didn't need my ticket as I fumbled to find it to check the other bags. Next guy on shift brings out one bag. Then my car comes out $95 to park and the guy was so rude. Usually the people hold the door or be some kind of courteous. I had to run back over to tip him. Gross
