I went for a pedicure with my mom and both of us were so pleased with the end product! Very clean, detail-oriented, and kind staff! I will definitely be returning to and recommending this place! Thank you again for the lovely job!

Wow- I have given this salon very positive reviews in the past, but today was an exception to that rule. First of all, I was one of only two patrons in there- and I realize that booking an early afternoon appointment in August might partially be the reason. But my manicurist/pedicurist seemed very distracted and not into her job (I know it can't always be easy, so I get that...). She was constantly looking down or sideways to her cell phone- something that really grates on my nerves (same with people walking and texting- do one or the other!), both while doing my manicure and my pedicure. It's rude. Focus on your client! In addition,  she did not sterilize the tools, either before or after use.  A HUGE no-no these days. The positive reviews praising their cleanliness are overrated in my opinion. They are standard- plastic guards at the manicure stations, that's all. Nothing was wiped down before or after. This has been my go-to nail place for a very long time- but I've recently discovered Susies Nails (highly rated on this site) and I have to say, their work is much more thorough and although it's a little further from me, I'll be using them from now on. Sorry, Nail By Young... I tried.
