The best vintage curator in NYC in my opinion. Melissa's inventory reaches far & wide, her store's range of decades through menswear is unmatched. 1920-1960s pieces in particular are widely found in here, with some truly unique pieces on offer. I'm a huge fan.

I've walked past this store everyday for 5 years on my way to work and never once went inside. I regret making the choice to do so today because I was met with the rudest, most unwelcoming and condescending staff. My partner and I walked in on a Sunday. It wasn't busy, there were two other customers already inside. A younger staff member who was at the register was conversing with an older gentleman who looked to be the coowner. As it was a small store, my partner and I greeted them both on separate occasions as we browsed the inventory around where they were talking. In both instances, neither party acknowledged our hellos, and instead stopped their conservation completely to stare at us. Again, it is a very small store and having a staff who refused to greet you and then stared at you as you browsed made for an uncomfortable shopping experience. Feeling this way, I stopped browsing and stayed in the corner where I can wait for my partner to finishing looking. He'd been really excited to visit this store as it'd been years in the making, and he's always been a fan of vintage denim so I waited patiently. Next thing I hear, my partner asked to see a piece that was a bit hard to reach and the younger man refused to get it, telling him "that item is really expensive." So?? My partner had been in the market for good denim and was willing to spend as much as he needed to for the quality. We've been all over the world looking for quality vintage denim and never once been refused to see an item because it was "too expensive."Unfortunately these people did not seem to care about good or decent customer service, so we promptly left and will never come back. I regret stepping foot in there. Definitely not BIPOC friendly either.
