Augustus Flottman is an extremely knowledgeable attorney with an incredible work ethic and compassion for your situation. Unfortunately there are a lot of sleazy attorneys in this world, but Augustus has maintained his class and moral character. Unfortunately my young son made some terrible choices with friends and pot and my husband and I were thrown into a world we knew nothing about. We quickly learned a law degree and title doesn't make you a good attorney and definitely not a good person. Our system will throw a person away for a long long time over pot and trust me the entire system wants their piece of the pie that pot generates. After going through a couple attorney's we finally figured out we needed someone that really understood federal laws, someone well respected by the judges and the prosecuting attorney's office and most importantly someone we could trust our sons future in their hands and we could trust what we were told was the truth. We did major research and interviewed several attorneys before making our final decision. After the threat of 10 years in a federal prison for selling a large amount of pot and a lie the prosecutor tried to fabricate that he was apart of meth, Augustus and Ben negotiated a plea deal and my son got 3 years. They worked every law angle possible (safety valve for ex.) to put us in the situation to get the best possible deal. Gus was relentless, studying the case, listening to the police interviews several times and meeting with my son, always treating him with respect. He knew our case and the evidence inside and out. On top of all that and important for me as a Mother, he kept encouraging my 20 year old son he could get through all this and still have a successful and productive life. My distraught son hung on to every word he said and I cherish all the encouragement he gave him for a bright future in his fragile state of mind. He took the time to see all the good in my son and really get to know him. When he said he was going to do something, he did it. Trust me, I learned the hard way, there are many attorney's that don't do what they've promised and just see green. The only peace of mind I had as a parent is I did everything I could possibly do as a parent by finding Augustus and Ben, for my son going into sentencing, to get the best possible outcome. The money spent here was worth every penny to save years off my sons imprisonment. He'll be out by 22 and have a chance to start over and do great things thanks to Gus and his team.
