Customer service is HORRIFIC. You cant talk to anyone local at the Columbus office, only call centers outside the state. The people who answer are rude and talk over you as you are asking for help. One person just flat out hung up on me today. I have been a print subscriber since 2008. I think the paper ITSELF is a good, reliable news source, but the poor customer service over the phone drives subscribers away. Today I was having trouble with my Dispatch App not recognizing me as a subscriber (when digital access is advertised to be included with a home delivery subscription). After first being disconnected and then being hung up on, the 3rd person whom I talked to (after repeating myself over and over again) was clueless as to how the app works. All in all, I just wasted over 45 minutes on the phone doing what they told me to do - deleting the app and then re-downloading it at least 3 different times. What a totally unsatisfying endeavor which didn't solve the problem ONE BIT! It was infuriating to say the least.

The Dispatch gives me NO opportunity to cancel my subscription either by phone or on line........is that a good policy? Shouldnt subscribers have this choice ? You at the paper have made the choices that make up MY choice to end my subscription. Lets be fair.

I didnt have any delivery issues, but I had a problem with their process of signing people up for subscriptions. I personally filled out my information and received a confirmation email with the information I gave them. When my credit card was charged twice (within 2 weeks apart), I called Dispatch to inquire. They could not find my name or phone number associated with the subscription address. I spoke with a supervisor (Lenly or Lenny?) and she had the worst customer service skills. She was not helpful and she treated me as if I was lying about signing up and being charged twice. I will never again sign up for this paper.
