My family booked a van 4 weeks in advance and received a confirmation call the week of pickup.
The morning of the day we were supposed to go on vacation I received a phone call saying hey, we screwed up and we have seven people that are supposed to pick up vans today and youre unfortunately are one of the people we dont have a van for! They offered no options and no other assistance basically said yeah corporate does this to us all the time. Sorry nothing we can do left us scrounging the day of leaving for vacation and trying to find transportation. even called multiple other locations and was told well theres nothing anyone can do for you.
Luckily we were able to find a last minute larger SUV through another company and due to it being last minute of course it cost us more.
Take some accountability for your terrible business practices and maybe look at hiring some competent people when it comes to availability with booking.
