The Social Club

It's almost the one-year anniversary of me walking into The Social Club for the first time and I love this shop and salon more each time I enter it. Phenomenal location for purchasing a variety of gifts, for others and for days when you really need a pick-me-up for yourself. My house is filled with Social Club candles turned whiskey glasses and my vanity filled with a variety of hair accessories and fun earrings. The salon is the ONLY place I will go for haircuts and McKenzie Fisher is an incredibly joyous and talented being. As if supporting a local business with charming goodies and a high quality salon wasn't enough, they also have a curated selection of VINTAGE items. I'm not sure how the creators of The Social Club brought my dreams to reality, but they did it and I'm very grateful that a spot like this exists in to make me smile and give me a reason to treat myself and the ones I love. The only thing that could make this place better would be a second location in OKC, and that is in the works. 10/10 recommend for all stressed grad students and others in need of a spark of joy and inspiration.

Erica Smith is awesome. I hope I never have to get my haircut from anyone else. I love going into her and Dana's business. They always have neat stuff for sale up front, including local artwork and products. I enjoy browsing the store for a few minutes before my appointment. They also play cool music which is always important.

Courtney has been doing my hair for longer than either of us care to admit, meaning I've followed her to multiple salons. The Social Club has been my favorite, by fair, in terms of the atmosphere, facility, and her coworkers. The shop half is adorable and the salon half is stylish. Everyone here is passionate about what they do and I couldn't recommend it more highly.
