Note: I have had flowers delivered to my wife, two times before using 1800Flowers who sent them via April's Floral. Both times the other floral locations had no problems delivering and never asked for additional directions. - -
I ordered some flowers for my wife's birthday through 1800Flowers. The origin and delivery of these flowers came from April's Floral. Their delivery completely failed on the first day (day of her birthday) and called me twice to get further instructions on how to get to the location to deliver them. This is a large unique building downtown, which is not hard to find. As reimbursement 1800Flowers gave me 50% credit back and Aprils Floral was supposed to throw in some chocolates then make the delivery the next day. My wife further explained how to get to her own work office over the phone so they wouldn't get lost and they made a guarantee to deliver them earlier in the day, since the office closes at 12:00 on Fridays. Yes, this means it completely ruined the surprise. - -
Next day comes, the delivery person from April's Floral called my wife twice for MORE directions on how to get there before finally delivering the flowers at 12 Noon exactly. The arrangement was not the same as illustrated but very close (excluding the candles). Also missing was the chocolates that were promised the day earlier. Safe to say I'll stick with the other local floral businesses from now on.
