Brooks Farms and Gardens

Charles Brooks, with Brooks Farms & Gardens, is tops in his field of landscaping, irrigation, as well as landscape designs! I am a fellow landscaper and have used his service from time to time. I've been on vacations and had my customers called with irrigation problems. He has gone out and troubleshot their systems and fixed what was needed to be fixed. I am now retired from the field and have referred Charles to old customers of mine with landscape needs that have included landscaping new homes to landscape & irrigation renovations. Whatever it has been, I have heard back from the customers how happy they are with the end results. And at the institution I work at now, we have used him from installing new landscapes, to putting in new irrigation systems. Not only has his work been professional, but no one can match the speed his crew works at in getting things done. I have seen jobs he has designed and completed throughout the Rogue Valley and he does custom work no one else is doing! I highly recommend Charles and his crew for anything to do in the field of landscaping & irrigation. Charles Brooks (owner of Brooks Farms and Gardens) was a pleasure to work with. Personable as well as extremely talented. We had a problem yard...it was simple, just grass, but we were unable to keep it green in spite of hours of weekly watering and hundreds of $ of lawn care materials. We enquired of Charles if there were someway to make the area lower maintenance, water sensitive, and colorful throughout the year. The photo below shows the finished product (although it was taken just after completion so the foilage is still small and some not even budding yet). We are extremely happy with the end results. All of the plants are drip irrigated minimizing our water usage (we're on a well), the design with the landscape boulders is beautiful (light colored spots in the photo). It is apparent than many hours went into the design, hardscape planning, and plant choices. This company worked long hours, good and bad weather, was ALWAYS on time, even some surprise visits when he had some extra time to make sure all was adjusted properly and growing as it should. A few plants didn't make it, they were replaced immediately. His skills are apparent, his reputation is everything to him. His work (yes, he's out there working with his employees) is impeccable. It is apparent that he has great relationships with his subcontractors (gravel, boulders, bark, grading/scraping/hauling) and he insists on his level of quality from each of them. Cannot recommend Charles highly enough. If you have a project, small or large, and want the best...this is the guy. We look forward to learning from him over the next few seasons to ensure all of the plants (over 100 of them) and trees thrive to finally give us the landscape that we wanted. Charles was knowledgeable, observant (immediately pointed out my sprinkler and soil issues), was easy to talk to, but was a great listener. He provided excellent suggestions, had helpful insights, is extremely creative, and I would highly recommend him. He works wonders!!!! Charles designed and installed a new landscape for our front yard in 2004 and the back yard, in 2015. He listened to what was needed and what was wanted and created the perfect garden. Every day there is something interesting, beautiful and inspirational to enjoy. I recommend Charles and his crew wholeheartedly. We highly recommend Charles Brooks for all your landscaping needs. He was amazingly patient with us while we were trying to decide what we wanted done with the landscaping at our recently purchased home. He answered all our questions, was very knowledgeable, gave us great ideas, and then implemented those ideas on schedule and on budget.
