I filed my 2017 taxes last year with Fiducial. Karen Blanchard was kind and respectful and a pleasure to work with. However, I paid $150 for their tax preparation fee just to later find out that they never filed my 2017 taxes for me. Last year when I filed with them I had ended up owing both for federal and state, and when I had them re-done this year with a new tax consultant (again due to Fiducial not filing them), I am getting almost $800 back in total. Furthermore when I sent an email to politely request a refund for my $150 that I paid for them to prepare my taxes, not once did Allen Grow apologize. Not even for the inconvenience. He simply said that it was my fault for not signing a document that THEY forgot to have me sign in the first place. He said that they called me (but I don't have the same phone number), he also said that they sent me a letter, but I never received anything. He ended his email with "I can understand your frustration," (once again, that is not an apology), "I will be willing to give you a discount on your 2019 return." As if I'd ever file with them again. I replied letting him know that I did not need a discount, I needed a refund, and have yet to receive a response. My new tax consultant has suggested I file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I honestly did not want to do that. I didn't even want to write this review. But after that email I have no choice because this has truly been a horrendous experience and I want you all to know that there are so many other people that you can find in the area to do your taxes. And due to this treatment I will also be following the suggestion of my tax consultant and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
