City Home

I really want to like this store. The furniture is great. But ONLY buy it in person. This is now my second delivery order with City Home that has not gone great. The first one was a purchase of ~$1400 through the Bend store. That order ended up being a month late and the delivery service lost almost the entire order (not sure how you can lose a 82” sold wood slab). It was the worst experience I have had with ordering something to be delivered. They refunded me. They swore it was a fluke. After some time (and because after I bought that original piece… I had purchased other items elsewhere for my home to go with it and couldn’t find anything else at other stores that went with it) I decided to try again, but order it online through the Portland store. It again was late. The legs of the table were damaged. The delivery service was still the worst customer service and experience I have ever had. I’d buy things from them in person. But I will ever buy anything to be shipped again. Shame on me for trying again after the first horrible experience that I had with the Bend store. At least I have this second order though. That first one is still “lost in shipping” I’m sure.
