BCBS Highmark is the WORST WORST WORST company to ever deal with as a PROVIDER and MEMBER. They have no sense of Customer Service let alone Provider Service. I have done everything BCBS recommends providers to do by using the provider portal regarding our claim issues however how many inquires must you go through to just get a resolution. I am on my 10th inquiry with no resolution. I just called and spoke with a representative at BCBS Highmark and was advised because I am a participating provider you must use the portal for all inquires and then was hung up on. This is absolutely ridiculous and makes you not want to accept this payer due to the stress and delays in just getting claims to pay.

High mark was very good when I first acquired it. Now seven years later it has increased again. $45 over a 7 year period. It started at $141 then $151 then $169 and now $189. This last time there was no real notification and Im already locked in till October. Their prices go up mid cycle so your stuck for at least 6 months having to pay the raised premium. Im going to be looking to switch this year.
