Target

It's about time this store closes down. We all saw it coming. Going to Target is supposed to be a joyous experience but coming to this location is truly such a chore. Somehow the store always looks fully stocked, yet everything you're looking for is out of stock. Not only that, half of the store is locked up - which is fine in theory but waiting for store associates to come unlock the shelves not only takes forever, it comes with an attitude too - a cherry on top. The prices in the store are marked up higher than Target's app. And going up to the front for a price match is met with either no one there or an attitude. The only good thing about this store is the self checkout, so you can hurry and get out of there. Oh.. except they're always out of bags..

It's been maybe a month, no bags signs up, but also the meat and other shelves are completely empty with "sorry we're trying to restock" signs. What's going on?

I was just racially profiled at this target on 2/23/23 @ 7:30am EST for being a black man wearing a black hoodie and outfit carrying a big white to buy candles which I do often at this Target after work, since I night Shift at Copper Hospital. I was approached by security guard and I knew immediately what was happening. I paid for my things via credit card. Called for manager, then got a number for corporate. I have been on the phone for 30 mins now speaking to customer relations. I'm getting the run around. I wonder should I get a lawyer now. I am very angry and my mind is spinning with hatred. To be profiled at a Target store on Black History Month, I feel very untoward currently. I already spoke to my brother a detective. Updates 3/7/2023 It has been over one week already. I have received little updates from the corporate in regards to my complaint. At this point I'm not certain what else I should do. Despite the store being in very near proximity to me, which is why this location was very convenient to me especially even during COVID. But I now get palpitations just driving by. I implore anyone else with similar experiences to please post. That includes this store, this location, any stores that allow stereotypes / fear to get ahead of better judgment. Updates 3/20/2023 I walked by the same target today and saw some of the staff involved in my incident. I then got triggered and decided to call customer relations for any updates. The first time I called the representative despite the number I gave him for the case said it didn't exist. I called back got a manager and was told the case does exist and was dealt with by senior leadership and I would likely not be called with updates. I asked why wouldn't I get updates since I made the complaint I was told they don't call. I am obviously very angry and still considering pursuing other pathways for resolution.
