        Talk about serendipity. I never expected to have such fresh, tasty. well prepared sushi in a strip mall in Northeast Philadelphia. Russel , the owner ,is clearly devoted to running a first class restaurant and he is such a friendly guy, Next time you are in the mood for a great meal, even if you don't live near 15501 Bustleton, do yourself a favor, visit Akira.. Like me, you will make it a favorite go to place.

        My dad stumbled upon this place and could not stop talking about it, so he took me and my fiance there recently and it was some of the best, freshest sushi I ever had, rivaling anything you'd find in Center City or NY-where I currently live. Our waiter was friendly and super helpful and clearly took pride in the food they serve. I cannot recommend it enough. They ship a lot of stuff in from California and the quality and attention shows.
