Garibaldi Cafe

My wife and I have eaten at this restaurant regularly for the past seven years. We have always found the food excellent and the service superior. I would recommend Garibaldi's to anyone.

Garibaldi's Cafe is arguably the Best restaurant in Columbia. However, it is not flashy and you could easily walk right by and not even notice it amidst all the glitz and glamour in Five Points. But don't let the outside decor fool you because the food is superb. We've eaten there regularly for the past 7 years, and it is where we go when we want to celebrate a Special Occaision. Given it's usually packed, we must not be the only Family who feels that way. So if you want to guarantee not having to wait be sure to make reservations. However, on more than one occasion they have accommodated us when we just show up, letting us eat at the bar. The prices are reasonable for a fine dining experience, with cheaper options suitable for kids. More often than not my Wife and I choose something off of the Special's Offering. The Grouper prepared with a mustard sauce is delicious and the boy's always opt for the chicken parmigiana (although sometimes I will order the eggplant parmigiana and we'll split it half and half). The accompanying pasta is simple, but good and they will be happy to substitute something else if you prefer. I usually start with the Heart of Palm Salad, but if they have the Tomato Crab Bisque or She Crab soup they're both really good. My Wife likes the Almond Crusted Tilapia. We don't usually save room for dessert, but I've heard several people rave about the Almond Basket. Parking can be a problem, but they offer free valet parking so save yourself the headache of searching.

This place is fantastic, I've been a handful of times and always had great service. The food is wonderful and super tasty!
