AMLI at Mueller

This is the best place to live. Management is amazing, the community is clean, maintenance is responsive and proactive. Its safe - Im always out walking and running at weird hours. The location is amazing. Super dog friendly. Love it here. I will say there is some concern about break-ins to peoples cars. My plates were stolen, but they have security patrolling the garage now and the issues should resolve once the garage door is fixed. (A resident and a tow truck hit it back to back.) Its frustrating, but its not violent and management is doing their best to fix it, which is more than I can say for anywhere else Ive lived!

Apartment complex is on the decline. You can read for yourself the countless posts about the parking garage being unsafe and ongoing maintenance to fix the gate which is still wide open all day and night. Now we have vandals coming into the complex and tagging the walls with graffiti (only attaching one photo, the others are too obscene to share). Obviously there are no security officers patrolling the property and criminals are aware. There should be wayyyyyyyy more done to make this community safe again. Don't listen to their cookie cutter response about Austin seeing a rise in crime. Data shows otherwise. That excuse tries to redirect the conversation away from the fact that they aren't doing anything about the crime in the building they manage.

The staff and team here are very attentive and helpful with the request and my concerns throughout my one year @ AMLI at Mueller. Sharon in the main office did a wonderful job in helping me during my move out and various communication. There are problems with unhoused individual (Austin in general), however, the AMLI does a wonderful job of ensuring that all entry into the community are key fob access only and that all are in working order. I love their small community enhancement and involvement activities. It has really been wonderful during the pandemic. This apartment by no mean is perfect, however, they do care and they do try to resolve your concerns and issues.

Disappointment awaits you. Poorly managed property, amenities are minimal for such a large population, pool is always dirty and was poorly placed (a very long, very narrow rectangle with minimal sunlight), parking is limited and unsafe with frequent burglaries, accessing the building for guests is very difficult, package room is literally the size of a small walk in closet although houses packages for hundreds of residents, office staff are polite but don't really care about resolving residents issues (with the exception of Frankie who always goes above and beyond - he is the shining star of the office staff and should be made the manager ASAP). Cell phone reception (except for Verizon and AT&T) is spotty, despite some system upgrades AMLI made. Only reason to live here is if you have to be in this location for personal reasons. There are other apartment options in the area which offer better amenities and better value and should be considered first.
