    The staff at this office is great, Dr. Navey is the reason I will not be coming back. I would advise military members to choose a different office. Dr. Navey labled me as a class 3 dental emergency, almost placing me on a no pay no points status. All of this was over a filling. I scheduled an appointment with on base dental and was marked down to a class 1.

    First, Dr. Navey's staff and his hygienist are awesome. My only complaint is with him. During one of my routine procedures, he pointed out that I had a loose filling that would need to be replaced on a future visit. However, every time I mentioned it to him, he told me it could wait. Eventually, it started to become painful, but he still kept putting off fixing it, telling me it could wait a while longer. Then, it came completely out, and the tooth began to splinter. I made an appointment for him to check it out. His response was like, "Oh darn! Now you're going to need a root canal. Imagine that!" Indeed, I needed a $4000 root canal and restoration because he just wasn't interested in performing the less expensive procedure that my insurance would cover. I made up my mind then and there, that I would have the procedure done as he recommended, but I'd be damned if HE was getting another nickel from me. I found myself another dentist. I wish I could have kept his hygienist because she's probably the best I've encountered, but there's absolutely no way I'd stay with a dentist who'd deliberately allow a patient's condition to worsen just to increase his profit margin.
