        Do not waste your money at this facility. Much more interested in collecting insurance than the patient. Were of no help at all with my dental appliance let alone TMJ issues. Cost me an extra $450 out of pocket because of their incompetence. My thousands of dollar dental appliance is currently useless because they have no solution. 100% better TMJ care in AZ. Go somewhere else.

        When the board certified Dr I had used for 30 years retired, I was doubting that I would ever find someone as competent, conservative and understanding as him. My Southlake dentist gave me Dr Vicks name and I tried him. I cannot express how pleased I was with everything about him and the office as a whole. I had been told I needed jaw replacements and a surgery that would involve a years recovery. Dr Virk evaluated me and gave me other options and KNOWLEDGE. He is a patient and excellent communicator. His calm, kind presence exudes competence. I now live 6 hours from Southlake, but drove there this week to see him. You wont go wrong choosing to see him.

        The doctors I visited helped me with my jaw pain. But when I went to get a night guard, the office manager or whoever deals with insurance and quotes could not ever provide me with accurate costs on the appliance. Insurance was not checked prior to my visit. A quote was given at that visit for out of pocket and if covered by insurance. Insurance has finally approved and it is 3x what she quoted initially for being covered by insurance. My deductible had not been met, which is easy to check when you check the policy prior to the visit. No estimations are provided prior to the visit, so you pay for an office visit to get an estimate that hasnt been approved or denied by insurance.
